Zarbeco manufacturers portable digital microscopes to give entomologists and other scientists tools for the field, classroom and laboratory. A laptop computer or tablet is the only power source your digital micoscope will need.
Use our new Live Insect Holder for live imaging of drosophila or other insects at 40x; or zoom in to 140x.
The MiScope achieves resolution of 4 microns and the MiScope Megapixel 2 resolves to less than 2 microns. You can easily determine the gender of your fruit fly by observing the combs on its forleg or abdomen shape.
Video ToolBox imaging software is included with all Zarbeco products and will allow you to view the live image on your computer screen and capture still pictures or movies which can be emailed or later displayed on a computer projector. Also take measurements of your image, label them, draw on them, or add a date/time stamp.
